한남

‘한국 남자’에 접사 ‘-충' 을 결합하여 만든 말로, 2015년 8월에 처음으로 쓰였다. 인터넷 커뮤니티인 메갈리아에서 여성혐오에 대한 ‘미러링’으로 사용하기 시작하였고, 메갈리아로부터 많은 회원이 유입된 워마드에서는 좁게는 ‘시스젠더 헤테로섹슈얼인 한국 남성’을, 넓게는 ‘모든 한국 남성’을 가리키는 말로 정의한다. 한국양성평등교육진흥원은 이를 특정한 성별에 대한 혐오·비난 표현으로 규정하였다.
