종특

「명사」 '종족 특성'의 준말. 월드 오브 워크래프트에서 유래한 용어로 특정 종족이 가진 고유한 능력을 표현할 때 사용한다. 최근에는 사회에서도 사용되는데 특정 인종이나 집단등이 공통적으로 가지고 있는 능력 또는 성질을 나타내기위해 사용된다.

"Racial trait," shortened — from World of Warcraft, describing an ability unique to a particular in-game race. Now also used more broadly (and often controversially) to describe a trait supposedly common to a specific real-world ethnicity or group.
