작업

「명사」2000년에 MBC 성인 시트콤 《세 친구》에서 나온 유행어이다. 윤다훈이 마음에 드는 여자를 꾈 때마다 “작업 들어간다”라는 말을 했고 그 후부터 남자가 여자를 꾀는 일의 의미로 ‘작업’이라는 말이 인터넷과 대한민국 사회에서 유행하게 되었다.

From a 2000 MBC adult sitcom (Three Friends), where actor Yoon Da-hoon would say "jageop deureoganda" ("time to make my move") whenever he pursued a woman he liked. The word "jageop" (lit. "work/operation") caught on nationally as slang for a man actively trying to woo a woman.
