롤(LOL)

Shortened from "League of Legends," the Riot Games title. Someone addicted to it is sometimes called "lol-dok" or "lol-chung." English speakers use "League" instead of "LOL" for the game, to avoid confusion with "laugh out loud."

라이엇 게임즈(Riot Games)의 리그 오브 레전드(League Of Legend)라는 게임명을 줄인 것이다. 흔히 이 게임에 중독 된 사람을 롤독, 롤충이라고 부르기도 한다. 영어권에서는 'laugh out loud' 의 준말 신조어인 'LOL'과의 분별을 위해 '롤'이 아닌 '리그' ('League')를 사용한다.
